RAM Products Revolution 50 PEDAL Only
A RAM foot pedal. On/off pedals switch the motor; variable pedals control speed by pressure. This is the Revolution 50.
Pedals take more abuse than anything else on a bench — they live on the floor and get stepped on all day. They are also the cheapest part of the system to replace when speed control gets erratic.
RAM Products have built electric Laboratory handpieces for over thirty years, and their Brushless motors are rated at roughly 10,000 hours — about five times the life of a traditional brush motor. The motor is sealed, so gypsum dust, acrylic swarf and zirconia grit stay out of the windings, which is the usual reason a bench motor dies young.
