A complete RAM micromotor set — control box, handpiece and the accessories needed to run it, supplied together as a working unit rather than as parts to assemble. This is the Oz Plus.
Buying the set is what you want when the bench needs a motor that works out of the box. The box, handpiece, cord and pedal are matched, so there is no compatibility guessing and no second order when something turns out not to fit.
RAM Products have built electric Laboratory handpieces for over thirty years, and their Brushless motors are rated at roughly 10,000 hours — about five times the life of a traditional brush motor. The motor is sealed, so gypsum dust, acrylic swarf and zirconia grit stay out of the windings, which is the usual reason a bench motor dies young.
