GC Temp ADVANTAGE
Eugenol-free temporary cement. The one to use whenever the definitive restoration will be resin bonded — no polymerisation inhibition, clean removal at seat.
BUY GC TEMP ADVANTAGE →Provisional cementation and chairside temporaries — where the choice of cement quietly decides whether your definitive resin bond works.
The single most expensive mistake here is eugenol. Eugenol-containing temporary cement inhibits resin polymerisation, so a crown temporised with it and then bonded with resin can debond months later for reasons nobody traces back. GC's eugenol-free options exist for exactly that reason.
Translucency matters too: a provisional veneer cemented with an opaque temp reads wrong at try-in and the patient rejects a definitive that would have been fine.
