The chemistry adds high-molecular-weight polyacrylic acid and a reactive filler to conventional glass ionomer, then seals with EQUIA Forte Coat. It places in a fraction of the chair time of a layered composite and tolerates the moisture that makes composite fail.
Best fit: Class I, unstressed Class II, cervical lesions, geriatric and paediatric patients, and any operatory where isolation is realistically imperfect. Trade-off: it will not match an anterior composite for translucency — that is not what it is for.
