• Five (5) intraoral Photography Mirrors as a SET

Need a specific shape on its own — occlusal, buccal or lingual — a replacement for one broken MIRROR, or a second SET so one can be sterilising while the other is in use? Ask us and we will quote the individual pieces.

• Fogging is the number one problem. Warm the MIRROR before it goes in, or run a gentle air stream across it during the shot. A cold MIRROR in a warm mouth fogs instantly.
• Retract properly. Lips and cheeks in frame ruin an otherwise good photograph. Use retractors and get the MIRROR deeper than feels necessary.
• Angle to the tooth, not to the camera. SET the MIRROR to the surface you want, then move the camera to the reflection.
• Watch the double image. A second faint image is a sign the reflective surface is behind glass rather than on it — correct your angle to minimise it.
• Handle like glass. The reflective surface scratches easily; a scratched MIRROR puts a permanent line through every photograph. Store them separated, never loose in a drawer.

Rinse debris off immediately — dried blood and impression material are far harder to remove later and abrasive scrubbing is what destroys the surface. Clean with a soft cloth and a solution compatible with the MIRROR, never an abrasive paste or a metal instrument. Follow the manufacturer’s reprocessing guidance for your steriliser; if you need that documentation for your infection-control binder, ask us and we will obtain the current version.
