VITROLUX Pure Titanium — 16 x 98.5
A medical-Grade Titanium disc for Cad/Cam milling. Two grades are used in dentistry and they are not interchangeable: Grade 2 commercially Pure Titanium, softer and more ductile with the best corrosion resistance and biocompatibility, and Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) Alloy, substantially stronger and stiffer, used where the part must carry load in thin section.
Titanium is the default where a framework must be rigid, light and biologically quiet: implant bars, full-arch substructures, custom abutments and RPD frameworks. It is roughly half the weight of a cobalt-chrome casting at comparable rigidity, and its oxide layer is why it has the service record it has in bone.

- Frameworks requiring rigidity at low weight
- Titanium is NOT a dry-mill polymer job. It needs a machine rated for metal, correct carbide or coated tooling, coolant and conservative feeds.
- Grade 2 and Grade 5 mill differently — use the strategy for the Grade you loaded.
- Titanium work-hardens; dwelling in a cut ruins both the tool and the surface.
System compatibility: milling machines rated for Titanium — a metal-capable spindle, coolant and tooling are required. Confirm your mill accepts this 16 blank before ordering — use Talk to an Expert and tell us your machine.
Technical data, shade charts and sintering or processing parameters are lot-dependent for milling blanks. Ask us and we will send the current manufacturer sheet for your exact shade and thickness rather than link a document that may not match your lot.
