UP3D P42 Plus 4-Axis Wet Dental Milling Unit
Description
The UP3D P42 Plus is a 4-axis wet dental Milling unit. Where the dry P53 is built for zirconia and PMMA volume, the wet P42 Plus exists for the materials that must be cut under coolant — glass ceramics, titanium, composite resin and PMMA.
Wet Milling is not a preference, it is a requirement: cutting glass ceramic or titanium dry generates heat that produces microcracks and a poor surface. Coolant carries the heat away and lubricates the cut, which is what protects both the restoration and the tool.
UP3D supplies a proprietary P42 special Milling liquid for models that require it, acting as coolant and lubricant in the tank — available separately as SKU 486034.
