Description
Surface conditioning before adhesive cementation is a chemistry problem disguised as a mechanical one. Renfert developed Prebonder Surface Pro specifically for the final cementation step, rather than adapting a general-purpose blasting media to it.
Renfert states that the 50 micron aluminum oxide is controlled for grain size distribution, particle shape, hardness and purity, and that together with the Basic Prebonder and its coordinated parameters it creates the micromechanical retention a durable bond depends on. the company describes the abrasive as optimised through extensive in-vitro studies for bond strength in final cementation.
the intent is a focused Surface transformation rather than aggressive removal: enough retention for the bond, without eroding a margin. It is indicated for zirconium oxide, metal alloys, hybrid materials and modern polymers.
