Prevest DenPro Alvocure dry socket periodontal dressing paste, 12 g jar, reference 40023

PREVest DENPRO Alvocure Dry Socket DRESSING — 12 g Jar, Ref. 40023

SKU 473685  ·  MFG #40023  ·  12 g jar  ·  PREVest DenPro Limited, India  ·  Professional dental use only

Alvocure is a non-adherent periodontal DRESSING for dry socket. It provides a soothing effect throughout the healing process. Its fibrous consistency allows for easy filling and adherence to the tooth socket after extraction, and it is self-eliminating — there is no second appointment to remove it.

Supplied by PREVest DenPro Limited under the product name Pengha Iodoform Paste. The fibrous body of the DRESSING is penghawar, the tree-fern fibre used in this class of sedative DRESSING, which is what lets a small pellet pack the socket and stay put without sutures. Sold as a 12 g jar, Ref. 40023 — enough for many placements, since each case takes only a small pellet.

Composition — as published by the manufacturer

Penghawar, Calcium Carbonate, Eugenol and Excipients.

Quoted verbatim from the manufacturer’s current Instructions For Use, revision 09, dated 30 September 2025, linked below. Confirm the composition on the insert in your own lot before use in any patient with a known allergy.

Indications & Use
  • Intended purpose: periodontal DRESSING for dry socket
