A radiographic positioning accessory — bite block, Film holder or sensor positioner.
Positioning is what decides whether a radiograph is diagnostic or repeated. A holder that puts the receptor parallel to the tooth and aligns the beam is the difference between a usable image and a second dose to the patient.

PLASDENT make most of these in a full colour and size range, and pack sizes scale for a multi-operatory practice. Need a different colour, a larger pack, or the whole range for colour-coding by operatory? Ask for a quote.
- Check whether the holder is rated for Film or for a digital sensor — they are not interchangeable and a Film holder can crack an expensive sensor.
- Verify the autoclave rating before reprocessing.
- Replace bite surfaces once they are chewed; a compressed block no longer positions accurately.
