NORDENT Burnisher, DE, Titanium-Nitride Coated

A composite placement, condensing or burnishing instrument.

Anatomy is won or lost at placement. A working end that releases cleanly lets you sculpt without pulling the increment back, which is where most anatomy defects actually originate.

The titanium-nitride coated working end releases non-stick restorative materials more cleanly than bare stainless, so material stays in the preparation instead of lifting back out with the instrument.

Specifications

  • Working end: Titanium-nitride coated
  • Detail: Double
  • Supplied as: 1
  • Manufacturer item: N117
What You Get
  • Burnisher, DE, Titanium-Nitride Coated

NORDENT supply most designs across several handle styles and the full number series. Need a different handle, the matching cassette, or the complete series for a set-up? Ask for a quote.

Using it well
  • Keep the working end clean between increments; residue causes pull-back.
  • Match the tip to the job — condenser to pack, burnisher to adapt, carver to shape.
  • Avoid solvent wipes mid-placement; they affect the increment surface.
Reprocessing

Clean and dry promptly after use, then sterilise following NORDENT's instructions for your steriliser. Residue left on stainless is what starts pitting, and pitting is what ends an instrument's working life early.

Documentation

NORDENT publish instrument specifications and reprocessing instructions per series. Ask us and we will send the current sheet for this exact instrument rather than link a document that may not match it.
