A vinyl polysiloxane (VPS / A-silicone) impression material from HUGE DENTAL’s Perfit line. VPS is the addition-cured silicone chemistry that gives long-term dimensional stability and high tear resistance — a poured model days later still matches the mouth.
HUGE publish three clinical routes for the Perfit range: one-step, two-step, and custom tray. The two-step — a tray material carrying a wash material — is the one most labs and practices run, and the manufacturer specifically recommends pairing heavy body with light body for both regular and functional impressions.

- Latex gloves inhibit the set of addition-cured silicone — use vinyl or nitrile, and keep latex off the prepared tooth.
- Tray adhesive matters: VPS pulls out of an untreated tray and the impression distorts on removal.
- Give it the full manufacturer set time in the mouth; early removal is the usual cause of a remake.
