Weighing only 145 g, it uses dynamic-staring capture with a white-LED light source to record full-arch scans in about one minute at 24 frames per second, with a stated accuracy of 6 µm. The GScan IQ outputs open STL/PLY files that drop straight into standard dental CAD software and third-party design and milling workflows — no proprietary format lock-in.
It connects over USB and ships with a charging cradle, making it a practical entry point for crown, bridge and clear-aligner digital dentistry.
