Description
The XTcera X-Mill 630 is a floor-standing 5-axis wet Milling center built for full-time laboratory production. A cast-iron body and a 2.5 kW water-cooled spindle running to 60,000 rpm hold a repeated positioning accuracy of 2 µm, and the B axis swings ±30° while the A axis rotates a full 360° — the motion range that undercuts, screw channels and angled abutment geometry actually require.
Its defining feature is capacity at the tool magazine: 24 Milling burs are exchanged automatically, so a mixed queue of glass ceramic, wax, PMMA, titanium and premilled abutments runs without a technician stopping to swap tooling. Real-time monitoring tracks tool life and tool damage during the cut, and an automatic calibration routine compensates numerical drift between jobs rather than waiting for a service visit.
Because the X-Mill 630 mills wet and is rated for titanium and premilled abutments, it is positioned for implant-bar, Malo-bridge, custom-abutment and metal-framework work — not only for chairside-style ceramic. Published cycle times are 3 minutes for wax, 17 minutes for glass ceramic and 25 minutes for a premilled abutment.
