AMERICAN EAGLE Scaler U15-33 (3/8) PURPLE
SKU 118931 · MFG #AESU15-33X · AMERICAN EAGLE
A supragingival scaler for calculus removal.
Sickle geometry is built for the interproximal and supragingival deposit. The pointed tip reaches contact areas a curette cannot, which is why both belong on the same tray rather than one replacing the other.
Specifications
- Product type: Scaler
- Handle: 3/8 in stainless steel
- Manufacturer item: AESU15-33X
What You Get
- Scaler U15-33 (3/8) PURPLE
AMERICAN EAGLE supply most designs across several handle styles and the full number series. Need a different handle, the matching cassette, or the complete series for a hygiene set-up? Ask for a quote.
Using it well
- Supragingival use. A pointed sickle tip is not intended below the gingival margin.
- Use a pull stroke with the blade adapted to the tooth, not the tissue.
- Inspect for tip fracture after each use.
Reprocessing
Clean and dry promptly after use, then sterilise following AMERICAN EAGLE's instructions for your steriliser. Residue left on stainless is what causes pitting, and pitting is what ends an instrument's working life early.
Documentation
AMERICAN EAGLE publish instrument specifications and reprocessing instructions per series. Ask us and we will send the current sheet for this exact instrument rather than link a document that may not match it.
