A replacement instrument TIP for a cone-socket handle system.

Cone-socket systems let you renew the working end and keep the handle. Over an instrument's life that is the cheaper path, and it keeps the clinician on a handle they already know.

AMERICAN EAGLE's XP Technology edge is designed to be used without sharpening, which keeps the blade geometry the manufacturer specified instead of the one a busy operatory grinds into it. That matters most on site-specific designs, where a re-angled edge no longer adapts to the surface it was built for.
