Description
the AD-IV is the two-to-three operatory unit in the ADC AD range and the first in the range to include air treatment. ADC specifies a small dual head oil-free pump rated 2 HP on a 15 gallon tank, 236 L/min of air flow at up to 8 Bar, a single desiccant air dryer and an automatic bleeder. Supply is 115V / 20A and ADC rates it at 53 dB.
What It is For
This is the ADC AD-IV, an oil-free dental air compressor. What it is for:
- Supplying compressed air to two or three dental operatories from a single machine.
- Delivering dried air: the fitted single desiccant dryer removes moisture from the air before it leaves the unit.
- Purging accumulated condensate from the tank without manual intervention, via the automatic bleeder.
Manufacturer-stated difference from the AD-I and AD-II: those two models are published with no air dryer and no bleeder. the AD-IV is published with a single desiccant air dryer and an automatic bleeder fitted. Note the supply requirement also changes — 115V at 20A, not 10A.
