GC Initial IQ LUSTRE Pastes NF are 3-dimensional, paintable ceramic pastes designed to add Color depth, lifelike translucency, and a natural glaze with a paint-on technique—often reducing the need for complex layering or extra firing cycles. They’re used to adjust shade, brightness/value, grey value, and surface gloss/texture on a wide range of ceramic restorations, including monolithic CAD/CAM cases and layered work. (US Dental Depot)

Total ceramic PASTE content = 56 g (14 jars × 4 g each):

• 1 × Neutral (L-N) – 4 g

• 1 × Value (L-V) – 4 g

• 4 × Body Shades – 4 g each (A, B, C, D)

• 8 × Enamel Effect Shades – 4 g each: Vanilla, White, Light Grey, Dark Grey, Light Blue, Dark Blue, Incisio, Olive

Liquids & accessories included:

• 1 × Diluting Liquid – 8 mL

• 1 × Refreshing Liquid – 8 mL

• 1 × Mixing dish

Firing temperatures / firing chart (guidelines)

Common firing parameters (guideline):

• Preheating: 480 °C

• Drying time: 2 min

• Heating rate: 45 °C/min

• Vacuum: No

• Holding time: 1 min

• Final temperature depends on ceramic system:

  • GC Initial MC: 810 °C

  • GC Initial LF: 760 °C

  • GC Initial Ti: 770 °C

  • GC Initial AL: 810 °C (apply & fire in 2 thin layers)

  • GC Initial Zr-FS: 780 °C

  • GC Initial PC: 810 °C

  • GC Initial IQ POM / POZ / LOM: 810 °C

Note: firing parameters are “guidelines” and must be adjusted to the furnace to achieve the correct result.

Compatibility / CTE range

Usable across a wide CTE range ~6.9 to 13.3, intended to work with nearly all ceramic types.

Handling notes (the practical “etc.”)

• Ready-to-use PASTE; stir well in the jar before use.

• Do not dilute inside the jar; mix PASTE + Diluting Liquid on a separate plate (over-dilution can reduce gloss).

• Refreshing Liquid is used to restore dried pastes and can be used in the jar (shake before use).

• If gloss is low after firing: verify firing temperature and avoid applying too thin/too diluted.

Shelf life

• LUSTRE Pastes NF: 5 years

• Diluting Liquid / Refreshing Liquid: 4 years
