Overview
KEYSTONE White MOUNTED Silicon-Carbide STONES are formulated for finishing non-precious ceramic alloys — nickel-chromium, cobalt-chromium, and other base-metal alloys used in PFM (porcelain-fused-to-metal) frameworks. The White bond cuts these harder base alloys at a controlled rate and leaves a finish suitable for opaque bake-on without surface contamination.
Color-coding is critical: White STONES are specifically for non-precious ceramic alloys. (Pink is for precious-metal ceramic alloys; green is for porcelain/composite; blue is for chrome-cobalt partial-denture frameworks; red is for general purpose.)
- White silicon-carbide bond. Engineered for non-precious ceramic alloys (NiCr, base metals).
- 3/32" HP shank, pre-MOUNTED.
- Inverted-cone and barrel head shapes. For PFM framework contouring.
