Spindle speed gets the marketing. Uptime pays the bills. A machine that runs 8 hours a day is idle 16 — and those 16 hours are the cheapest capacity you will ever buy, because you already own the machine.

Who should not buy this

If your case mix includes glass ceramic, titanium or premilled abutments, this is the wrong machine — it is dry-focused, with no wet circuit to maintain and none to use. The D5 Max is for labs that live in zirconia and PMMA and want to walk in each morning to finished work. If that is not your queue, buy the wet capability instead and skip the automation for now.
